Jade McGowan is an editor, audio book narrator, and published short story writer originally from New York City who now lives on the Gulf Coast of Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in writing at Cornell University and her Masters of Arts in Library and Information Science at the State University at Albany, New York. She is the editor-in-chief of the literary journal Scribble and an editor of the literary journal, 805 Lit+Art, the first literary journal published by a public library in the United States.
Her work has appeared in About Such Things and Artisan: A Journal of Craft.
Her short story, Lifting, was published in The MacGuffin in March, 2019. She has an upcoming short story publication in The Copperfield Review.
